@Beau Skunky Ah. It takes a few seasons before she gets there but she eventually gets roped into tagging along on a spy mission by accident, and then we see how she’s like when she’s not trying to drive Clover nuts. She turns out to be more intelligent than the token asian girl, actually, it just lies dormant from her friends being all “Ech, books, learning, laaame!”, even makes a decent assistant, but since she’s such a blabbermouth she winds up getting zapped with a neuralizer at the end. It happens a couple more times so becomes a bit of a running gag where “jerky bitchgirl saved the world instead of the heroes, but we can’t trust her since she’s such a braggart so she has to forget all of this.” Til the 6th time, where she’s finally matured enough to handle it and becomes a reservist. Basically, fuse Twilight and Suri with Rarity’s penchant for gossip/dramatics. Turned out to be quite an interesting character, though she suffers from too many appearances (as she’s their main non-villain antagonist and so has to show up in every episode. It’d probably be stronger if we didn’t see her being a crabby bitch every single ep so the differences would be appreciated better.)

Yeah for as shrewd and shady of a businessman as he is, Fisher Biskitt always seems to make sure his daughters succeed and keep on the straight path.
 
With the exception of one episode, the one where Blythe helps to fix up a dilapidated building into a pet hotel. Here, Fisher is depicted as a full on Monty Burns and goes out of his way to sabotage Blythe’s efforts (despite her actually saving his daughters’ lives a few episodes prior right in front of him), even getting his own villain song about how cheating your way to success is the way to go (and encouraging the Twins to do the same). I found it rather bizarre because that was the only time he was ever depicted that way. And then later on in the season finale, the Twins nearly botch Blythe’s pet festival by not remembering to secure a park permit for the event. When the girls call their dad to bail them out, he refuses and tells them to fix it themselves.
 
There was one other episode where he tried to capture an escaped endangered snake for display at his store despite not owning the snake, but it didn’t really seem out of the ordinary for him.

Never really watched “Totally Spies,” but interesting comparisons there. It would be nice to see a different side to Tiara & Spoon besides, “lol blank-flanks,” and such.
 
There is a rumor that might happen this season. Would be interesting to see a more sympathetic/likeable side to Tiara, sense other shows have done that with bully/jerk characters before.  
Or at least something, so fans realize she’s not “pure evil, and must be destroyed.” lol

@Beau Skunky That came up on /mlp/ before looong ago and people got buttmad when I compared her to Mandy on Totally Spies… DYEWTS!!! Mandy actually has lots more positive traits than Clover despite being designated antagonist/school bully. Sticks up for her pals (in fact, since they’re more stereotypical, if the show ever decided to focus on her it might deal with her losing leadership of her clique I imagine), the few times she got roped into being a spy she treated it about as seriously as Alex (while clover just whines about how dirty she’s getting) and not a boy-crazy idiot nor pushy vegan.  
You see a similar thing with the Biskit twins in LPS as well. They completely lack normal empathy, leading to their bullying qualities, but they’re absolutely fanatical about treating their friends right.  
They seem like what DT and SS might be if upgraded a spot in the roster, but with more annoying voices/verbal tics. (also, expanding on that Filthy Rich idea, they had a recent pair of eps where their dad showed up and instead of being brats they get along well with him, and he also essentially tells them they won’t get ahead without working hard, which is contrary to most other dads in this dynamic)

I figure since we’re batting 2/3, if Mandy’s dad ever shows up he’ll be similar.

Agreed, this is the first time he ever got to be awesome in the show.
 
I like to think he’s alot nicer/cooler then his daughter, and perhaps even she has some “hidden depths” too. I thought it was cute she was the only filly in “Family Appreciation Day” who actually loved listening to her Daddy’s (boring) speeches.  
(She may be a brat, but at least Tiara respects her old man.)

I always loved filthy’s design. Glad to see him getting more love from the show. Hopefully the fandom will follow
