I never take the comics, books or even the spin-offs into account unless the FIM series shows or even mentions it.
Also provides some info for anyone really hungry for more even semi-canon info on zebras.
Might.
Does not help with the show’s canon.
“Canon” on zebra homelands.
What does that have to do with the show?

The Journal of the Two Sisters talks about Luna going deep in the Everfree and finding a savanna/grassland with huts that Zebras live in.
Now we have a canonical map, so the only way that could happen is some Narnia-style wormhole, which I’m perfectly fine with. Fits the Everfree mystique way too well, really, heh. Makes it look not nearly intimidating enough for it just to be a patch of forest on the map. It should be something where all its borders are explored, and when you map it out from the borders, it should be only 200 miles across at the maximum, but ponies have gone in and explored its depths for over 500 miles, and going in from the other side for 500 miles doesn’t lead you to anything even remotely similar to if you approached it from the other side…
Non-euclidean. Beautiful. Just like wormholes, too :p (Yes, wormholes - all of gravity, for that matter - is somewhat Eldritch in the sense that it’s non-euclidean. That’s one of the biggest features of General Relativity - arguably its only feature, since it is a geometric theory of gravity describing gravity as non-euclidean space. Gravity only exists because spacetime is non-Euclidean. It gets way more complicated :p )
I’m just throwing out ideas. She still exists.
But we saw her hut in Filli Vanilli, and it was perfectly fine.
HAVE YOU DREABRA
It’s annoying because we’ve been dying to see a zebra homeland episode ever since she was introduced. I mean, we got our griffon kingdom episode. Why not zebra homeland?
