It’s not a normal flush. It’s a normal straight, which is still an excellent hand. A flush is when you have cards all the same suit, and is one step above a straight.
 
If you want him to mistakenly think he has a straight flush, either give him a straight with 5 cards all the same color but not the same suit (4 hearts and a diamond, for instance), or give him five cards all in the same suit but he doesn’t notice that he’s got a gap in his straight.
