I agree completely. And yeah “Belle” isn’t Sweetie’s surname, it’s part of her full given name (otherwise, characters including her friends are calling her by her full name almost constantly… doesn’t that strike people as really weird?). But yeah, I agree it’s still a nice pic.
People like to make it Rarity Belle because of Sweetie Belle, while completely ignoring that it’s not Shining Sparkle, but it’s Shining Armor.
It’s possible for ponies to have a single, one word name. Rarity Belle has always been a big pet peeve of mine because it’s just tacking on a name for her just because :V
