A Sonic Adventure style game with MLP characters? Sweet. Someone needs to make a mod of that.

The Dreamcast was SEGA’s last and final game console before they lost out to Nintendo’s smaller but slightly more powerful Gamecube and had to leave the console business. Since then SEGA has been focusing too much on trying to make Sonic cool again that they forget about most of their other old games such as Outrun, Puyo Pop, Vectorman, Jet Set Radio, Space Channel 5, SEGA Rally, Daytona USA, Virtura Fighter and most of the games that they made on the Dreamcast. They even forget about Gunstar Heroes after it’s last outing on the Gameboy Advance. And that was more than 10 years ago.
 
So basically SEGA ruined themselves while trying to focus too much on making Sonic better that they pretty much destroyed the other games in the classic SEGA series. So some SEGA fans felt that SEGA is now gone and choose to keep the Dreamcast console as a reminder of the time when SEGA used to be Cool and Awesome during the 90’s.

At least the franchise did exist at the time.

I wish this was the MLP generation during the Dreamcast era.

I’m never going to understand why people who make these fake video game covers always go back to the dreamcast. Four someone explain that to me?

No, it’s really not. Just a Dreamcast cover, dos not imply or reference Sonic at all. :P
