Okay. In that case, the comic author was just having fun with making it look gay as fyay. I extremely doubt anyone at all would do that in real life “just for a friend”.

Oh, Milton was looking deeply into Archie’s eyes, and his hand was playing with his friend’s hair. It was set up like and excessively romantic movie scene, complete with dim lighting, a candle or two for ambiance, and I think there might have been a few hearts and music notes written in the background to imply that there was sappy music being played.

If the body language isn’t similar to this, of course there will be a difference. It’s a combination of both that give this the tag.If it was just one friend helping another out, they wouldn’t be in the position they are in.

If Rarity was talking about practicing the honeymoon, then I might agree with you.

How about this: I remember an Archie comic where Archie was trying to help Milton (the nerd character) practice talking to girls. It opened up with Milton talking to someone with long blonde hair on his couch, escalating into the “are they going to kiss now, or are they going to fuck now?” stage of things that TV is so fond of starting up. Then the frame rotates and shows that Milton is able to say romantic things in general, he just freezes up when he’s talking to an actual girl.

This was not intended to imply any homosexual feelings on anyone. It was just a friend trying to help out another friend with dating problems.

This MLP fan comic series has a very similar premise as that Archie comic, and I don’t see why shipping implications are implied here when they weren’t in the other one.

Even with “shipping goggles” off, it’s still a suggestive image considering their positioning and volunteering to “practice the wedding ceremony”.

I don’t think this counts as lesbian. Rarity is setting up a date for Dash with a guy, and Dash is just generally getting flustered by things.

I’m not seeing any sexual attraction between the two here, and I don’t think it exists unless you’re already wearing shipping goggles.
