Well, we don’t know that since they can’t speak. But in the footage I’ve seen of animals laying eggs, they didn’t seem to be in a large amount of agony. With the adult dragons we’ve seen compared to the size of Spike’s egg, even laying a large amount shouldn’t result in anything worse than a temporary soreness. Unless younger, smaller dragons can get pregnant, then yeah, that’s gonna hurt.
