Yeah puns can be hit or miss a lot of the times. Most of the time people will just groan at you, but occasionally you’ll get some genuine laughter.
Fair enough… puns don’t make everyone laugh.
But in regards to your reasons for not liking it, it does make some sense in the game’s logic; hence why I did it.
I put her as the character because she’s good with animals (even hostile ones).
Both are rather quite, except when under attack or someone who they care about is in danger.
But, like I said; puns sometimes don’t work.
On a different note:
I… didn’t like, how they “tried” to humanize the main character in the second game…
In story he was an anti-hero, but I played him pretty much as a psychotic, sadistic asshole… much more fun that way X3
Prototrot? That doesn’t make much sense. Was she the first creature to ever trot, hence the term?
Bucklight? What the fuck does that even mean? I mean I know it’s the Blacklight virus but why change it to Bucklight? What does it cause ponies to spontaneously start bucking things?
Puns have to make some sense to work you know.
The idea is that the virus makes all the creatures in the Everfree Forest evil so she can control them.
