Does that imply that Newborn Cuties was gonna have more episodes?
I still wonder about the way she was so ultra-powerful as a baby but never uses magic ever in the later-set stories. That tweet Ilsor mentioned made me wonder if she somehow burned her power out and so can’t use magic anymore by the time she’s older, but it’s hard to imagine a Newborn Cuties story doing something as superhero-comic-ish as “she saves the day with some crazy awesome feat but can never use magic again.”
It rings more true that she’s worried about fitting in and so never sets herself even further apart from the others by using magic where anyone can see it… but again, she definitely got her 15 minutes of fame by G3.5 standards (the star of two of those 5-mins-ish shorts, a nice juicy role in Twinkle Wish Adventure) and no trace of anything we’re reading above shows itself (aside from her being the youngest; it’s not said, but she’s definitely the smallest.)
If G3.5 Sweetie Belle was intented to be an ultra-powerful unicorn, that makes me wonder what G4 Sweetie Belle’s “power level” is. Could she end up being Twilight’s successor as the Element of Magic?
