flutter brutter is one of my favorite episodes solely because it is basically 20 minutes of showcasing of fluttershy’s growth  
just look at this face  
three seasons ago she’d be zephyr breeze’s personal maid, he would have wiped his hooves all over her. in this episode she takes 0% of his crap, she’s sarcastic, it’s clear she’s in the “getting real tired of your squee zepher  
yet she is NEVER cold, cruel, unpleasant, mean, or unfair to him, and gives him far more chances than he deserves  
she is still the element of kindness she was meant to be

I actually think it’s a good thing. The show is kind of growing up you can say and isn’t treating its audience like it needs the lesson spelled out for them. Now if only some of the writers could figure out how to do that with the exposition at the start of episodes.

this really makes me miss the friendship lessons in the end. Season 4 still had them with the journal but now they are gone.

I needto watch this episode. I keep hearing some Flutterhateing and this ep wasn’t cool

If you watch the original episode list, Scare Master was… Episode 15.
 
This episode was supposed to air instead of Rarity Investigates in the first place. They changed the order so we could have Scare Master at Halloween… but apparently they fucked up and it was still labeled “Episode 15” so they blindly sent this one to iTunes instead of Rarity Investigates.
