It could very well be when we get pages 4 and beyond. Narrativewise, it makes sense that with (re)introducing Radiant and Sombra, that the next step is now to explain her backstory.
My speculation is that Radiant has spent the past 1000 yrs to collect all the pieces of Amore as part of trying to help Sombra atone for his actions.
Second, it was centuries before, so we that for the timeline.
Indeed, the whole reason Sombra vanished the Empire in the first place was to punish hope by taking away her home.
Except if you read the Fiendship, you’d see that she didn’t.
It was a rather important detail.
I don’t see what’s so confusing about this. she was caught in the same thing that made the empire vanish. just like every crystal pony. problem solved.
