My favorite thing of the first movie (and like, all of G4) is how horrified the humane 5 are at first when they explode Sunset with their Friendship Rainbow of death.
 
They’re like “oh GOD DID WE KILL HER?”
 
All is fine when they see she’s alive, relatively unharmed and repentant.

All the faces look really odd.

What? He seems awfully interested in her, and can probably make her feel the same way about him. Out-and-out brainwashing is probably not an option any more, it’d make Fluttershy unhappy, but subliminal messages while she’s asleep are still quite possible. Luna might not like him messing with Twilight’s dreams, but we all know that the Princess of the Night can be bribed with sufficient amounts of candy.

Nah, it’s Spike, while I like Flash, everyone kept on kiss blocking him! No-one kiss blocked Spike when Spike gave Twilight a dog kiss in the 1st and 3rd movies.
