It likely doesn’t help that season 6 has been hugely mixed, with some good, but also some bad.  
I blame the new writers.

At the risk of sounding like a Debbie Downer, I really miss this season, the first half is probably the strongest the show has been.

Gauntlet of fire caught me off guard. The times are a Changeling gave it. While I agree the ending was rushed, it got the message across.

Good thing Season 6 gave us two.

Nah, we still need one where Spike has something happen that isn’t idiotic.
 
Just the idea of a good Spike episode would evoke feelz from me.

For me, all the main characters are so well written that have given us beautiful moments this season, with the obvious exceptions of forever.  
It will be difficult to beat this.

I need a compilation about this, this whole season has been a feel ride like few I’ve had (probably because I’ve grown to really care about the characters :u)

Goes beyond that:  
Coping with loss of home and well being. Death Allegory. Rekindling lost relationships(3 of them even). Abandonment issues. Existential crisis. Dealing with self harm/loathing. Familial inadequacy. And coming to terms with who you really are, rather than wasting time finding what you’re not.  
…  
You know. For kids!

Finding your place in the world, past angst, death allegories, rekindled bonds, appreciation of the those around you, forgiveness, and not letting the past consume you…all within a TV-Y rating.

Ew, emotions.

I agree this season is more feelsy than any other season before. Though if I’m honest, I didn’t think ‘Party Pooped’ and ‘Make New Friends but Keep Discord’ were that emotional compared to these other episodes. However that’s just my opinion..

Shield: Defense, or standing up for others. In this case, helping others find true meaning to their talents.  
Colors: Representing their primary mane colors. Red for Applebloom, Pastel Purple-Pink for Sweetie Belle, Dark Purple for Scootaloo  
Outer Symbol: Representing the 3 pony types. Apple (grown from trees) for Earth Ponies; Star (magic) for Unicorns; Wing (flight) for Pegasi  
Inner Symbol: Represents their innermost talents. Heart: Sincerity, Goodness, Charity. Lightning Bolt: Speed, Justice, Strength. Music Note: Grace, Peace, Kindness.  
Inner Symbol 2: Heart: (Apple family related) Love for craftsmanship and creating, as apples are also often associated with creativity. Lightning Bolt: Scootaloo is quite the daredevil. Even while she might be crippled for flight, she still uses her wings to propel herself on her scooter, gaining speed and doing cool stunts. Music Note: Sweetie has strong vocals and a good feeling for music in general.
 
I truly think their cutie marks are good designs since these represent their ability to help others, which is a part of what friendship is all about.
