It is pretty ridiculous, I think I’m done with politics for a long time this election has been bad on both sides neither of the candidates are good and I’m tired of the drama over the whole thing, no matter who wins we all lose and they will just take their orders from the senate anyway.

In that entire thread, he provided three citations. Two dealing with bankruptcies filed in some of his dealings as if that’s a major surprise or speaks to his ability with business as a whole. This as opposed to, y’know, how his businesses have grown, as he inherited only a small percent of the current worth of his businesses and his personal net worth. This is something that cannot be attacked and the only time anyone has ever tried was to say how terribly he did because his personal wealth has grown at about the rate that it would have if he had invested in the top 500 stock market performers since he started building his businesses (note that the article fails to take into account the capital gains tax or the fact that the S&P 500 is not a static index). That’s the best anyone has ever managed to do when talking about Trump’s actual performance overall. Citing the bankruptcies as “proof” that he’s done terribly in business is ignorant at best, and intentionally lying at worst. And saying that he inherited his wealth? That’s a complete, outright lie.
The other one citation? Persists with the whole “saying anything negative about illegal immigrants means you hate all Hispanics!” Seriously. The title of the article is, “Here Are All the Racist Comments That Got Donald Trump Fired From NBC” and “all the racist comments” essentially are that illegal immigrants commit a lot of the crime here in the US. Which is accurate.
So… amazing citations. Really. Also, you’ve proven yourself to be a liar several times over and have still not provided any sources or citations for your claims (also known as lies), so… done. Bye.

Actually, trying to elicit a citation out of you would be pointless, as you’re clearly ignorant to the extreme. Either that or you’re intentionally lying.
For example, the kind of tariff he’s talking about is an import tax, not an export tax (so the US being a “supplier” for Mexico wouldn’t matter). So the US putting a tariff on goods imported from Mexico would hurt Mexico’s exports to the US. This isn’t something you can overcome just by exporting more goods elsewhere. Tariffs usually end up encouraging the other country to enact tariffs in response.
This means that a tariff can only be used to pressure other countries if they’ve got a trade deficit (you know, like the kind that the US has with Mexico). When country A has a trade deficit with country B, imposing tariffs on country B can hurt that country’s economy massively while having a minimal effect on country A. Tariffs also affect company decisions to send manufacturing jobs overseas. In addition to the transportation cost, they must pay a tariff on the finished goods. This can help to increase the amount of manufacturing jobs available within the country, which can actually help increase the country’s exports if the situation is right (if not, then the reactionary tariffs imposed in response can harm the economy, as seen during the Great Depression).
Side note: This is why renewing the Most Favored Nation status to China is completely moronic from an economic standpoint. In 1980, it made sense. Ever since the mid-90’s, however, it’s been obvious that it’s not in our best interest.

And personally I couldn’t care less about his ‘stances’ are because as a person he’s one of the worst he’s racist, homophobic and xenophobic and I don’t want someone like that representing this country, he also has some of the stupidest ideas like making a giant wall along the border and making mexico pay for it won’t work and he says if they don’t pay for it he’ll put tariffs on mexico like that will do anything mexico has other suppliers, seriously what a dumbass.
I’m also sick of people saying he would make a good president because he’s a good business man he inherited that money he didn’t earn it or use savvy business practices to get it because it was just handed to him he doesn’t know jack shit about running a business properly.
He bashed a Hispanic film producer for winning an award saying his kind shouldn’t receive it the guy wasn’t an illegal he was talking about all Hispanics and he has said all Mexicans are thieves and rapists he has also said some stupid stuff like not wanting black people handling his money he’s a hardcore racist this isn’t even old news people have known this stuff for awhile he’s extremely sexist and sees women as objects making tons of statements about how they don’t belong in positions outside of a kitchen or some form of exhibitionism and even then only if they are sexy.
And I haven’t forgotten about all the gay bashing he did a couple of years ago he might say he supports them now but I don’t believe him he’ll switch his opinion the first chance he gets.
If you want to think he can run this country somehow fine but don’t try to pretend he’s morally just or a non racist cause he’s basically the token child of it and I won’t support people like him regardless of their political position which also isn’t very good.
