I seriously hope they’re going to be shopping around for someone to carry the show into full production. Releasing on YouTube was brilliant- 5.5 million views in a week with 623,000/629,300 positive reviews has got to be a heck of a selling point to any network/streaming service.

Yeah, they’ve already got a vision for the show, that’s what needs to wind up on-screen, no focus groups watering it down. But that’s the other thing that’s great about the YouTube release: no exec can come in and say “you need to change “X”, it isn’t marketable” after the pilot has already demonstrated that the show’s fantastically well-received as-is.

Depending on who ends up supporting them, that’s totally up in the air. I doubt any executive producers who would want the show on their channel(s) would want to change too much. Sadly however, I can very easily imagine certain “moral guardian” groups outright resenting the idea of a show featuring characters in Hell and portraying any of said characters in a sympathetic light.
 
I’m going to continue to cross my fingers on the matter and hope for the best. I really enjoyed what I watched and it would be terribly sad to see the team’s creativity get spoiled by focus group-minded idiocy. I’m holdin’ my breath over here xD .

Oh, yeah, someone’s absolutely going to work themselves into a moral panic about this. There’s already people who freak out about Doom and that one show where the devil is a consulting detective in LA, so a cartoon (won’t somebody PLEASE think of the children!) with likable demons as protagonists is bound to lead to some serious pearl-clutching. Kind of ironic, considering self betterment with the ultimate goal of going to heaven seems like a pretty darn moral goal.
 
That being said, it’s not like the pilot is hiding anything, so any network/service looking to carry it should know what they’re getting into. As long as it’s rated appropriately, it should be no harder to get to air than any of the other R or TV-MA rated stuff out there.

I loved it.

Because. It’s the internet, and that’s what we do. I’ve made it standard practice now that whenever I hear about a new major property or show, I immediately go look for R34 of it. It’s partially out of prurient interest and partly out of sheer curiosity.

Quick reminder that Charlie is actually the oldest among everyone in the Hazbin crew. One of the portraits in the hotel was marked “Magne Family 1871”, making her at least 150 years old.

The sad thing is, for the amount of porn there is of this show, I’ve seen very little of Charlie and Vaggie together, aka the canon WLW couple. You’d think that would just be obvious, but no, most of it is still boring straight crap.
