Why is vore arousing to some people?

I never really understood the vore thing. I don’t mind it, nor blacklist it, but I never really got why a good amount of people enjoy it. Any people that like vore who could explain to me what they like about it? Thanks.

don’t try to find sense in fetishes, JUST DON’T, is impossible.

I have fetishes and I can explain them quite easily, so I don’t see why vore can’t be explained.

In the same way some people find scat arousing. Different strokes for different folks.  
I find both disgusting though.

I want details though. Of course you can simplify it, but there is almost always a reason for fetitshes. Foot fetish can be explained, scat can also be explained. Though it can’t be explained by all people, I’m looking for people that can describe why they like it.

Well on the escapist, there was a thread about fetishes and one person admitted they liked vore.  
I believe their reasoning was based around it being like a form of bondage, enjoying the helplessness of the whole thing.

 
Personally I am fed up with Vore!

As for the one’s being eaten, most of the time it’s all that squishy squish and slippery wetness when channeling down a throat or orifice, and feeling all of it.
 
Not personally my thing but I can see why people like it~ Though, keep in mind there’s distinction between the vore of just putting people in oneself (soft) and killing them in the process (hard vore) Most like it soft if it makes you feel better.

There’s something to be said for the delight of the absurd.
 
Stretching the boundaries of anatomy and normality far past the realm of the physically possible. Vore does all that not only figuratively, but quite literally as well.
 
That’s all a big enough mess of kinks right there, without even getting into the whole swallowing people idea. There’s a buttload of reasons you can be into it. Some like the domination aspect. Some like the pure mechanics of it. Some treat it more like extreme food play. Some like all of the above. And far, far more.
 
 
If you don’t get it though, I doubt you ever will. I don’t understand why anyone would ever get the idea that feet of all things are sexy. If you break the reasons down far enough, it all stops making sense somewhere.
 
Arousal isn’t really that rational to begin with.

It’s like you can explain perfectly why you like your own fetishes, but when you try to figure out why other people like stuff, it makes no sense.

I am a voraphile and have been so for years.  
the reason why it is my fetish, at least for me, is that large belly that results from the pred’s meal. I don’t know why I am so fascinated by the large belly. but I find the act as a deeper expression of love and trust. Most vorists prefer soft vore compared to hard vore. I really remember why though. also the fact that the entire act treats anatomy like the way Pinkie treats the 4th wall amusing to the least.  
soft vore and hard vore are the major categories of vore but there are various kinds of vore that can be explored including two that involve the fantasy of physically putting one’s entire body into another’s through the genitals and are abbreviated as UB for the female predator and CV for the male predator of the fantasy. there is also the act of shoving one into another’s being by the anus, or for a a shorter way of saying it Anal vore. oral vore is the act of the predator eating the prey, at which point it can go either grim dark or soft.
 
to put it bluntly, there are as many traditional ways to vore some being as there is members of the CMC. there are different ways besides traditional to be vored as well and that’s where things can get creepy and creative.

I think inflation is more baffling.  
But honestly, I can’t understand how often vore and inflation are more ‘accepted’ as fetishes versus things like piss or scat which feel more ‘natural’ to me, and I can’t understand why so many people find just those acts all gross and icky, and ‘all the way through’ vore without a single hint of body waste is absolutely silly to me.
 
I blame cartoons you all probably watched as a kid that had that stuff.

Not to call you weird for whatever you may like, but for most people, that reaction is as natural as feeling pain if you’re stabbed.
 

 
Also, again not really to complain, but I have to ask. The lack of waste after vore is where you though this got silly? This fetish is running on cartoon physics from beginning to end, buddy.

Who said I wanted to touch it or eat it? Jeez, just because a fetish can go in many ways doesn’t mean the most extreme part of it is liked by everyone. That’s a bit generalizing there.

One possible explanation is that much of the body’s physiological response to fear is very similar to the arousal response. A whole pile of hormones and chemicals are released into the body in both cases, and it’s quite easy to see how the mind could decide to “cope” with the fear by turning it into something sexually arousing.

Some people just like to watch people take a dump or feel the relief of pooping. Like that relief of defecating is on a sexual level for them.
 
As for scat play, like eating/smearing/diapers/or on, it’s usually a humiliation thing to an extreme.

It varies from person to person, but likely including dominating or being dominated, and being inside or part of someone
