Especially the regular female pone muzzles. I think the stallions and the princesses are a bit easier to visualize in 3d because of the slightly more hoers-y look they have

But i usually prefer something between hoers and show-style pone. Well, mostly pone but with some hoers-y elements added. I just find that really appealing for some reason.

So I’m trying to redraw one of the characters I made using one of araki’s later styles. I’m not going to post the progress in fear that it might not be mlp relates (unless this thread involves everything then :V).

After putting some thought into it, I determined the funniest thing Twilight could be wearing in this scenario is a camouflaged tilley hat, and the single most innocent thing Kalianne could be doing was reclining in the shade eating a lollipop.

So, I was doing some sketches and from an absolutely rough drawing I started to do this (it’s going to have the body), my problem is that for some reason I don’t feel satisfied :<
 
Should I complete this or leave it?

What if broken legs are my fetish

I put some thought in to something I want to draw, and it has a clear reason for being done.  
Takes a couple of hours to get done.  
Score, 26 up, 3 down, (not bad, but not brilliant either)  

 
I do a random spur-of-the-moment doodle.  
Took about 3/4 hour from a blank page to finished.  
Totally buries the one I put the effort in to on score.

(I didn’t until it came up on the end titles).

Well, here’s the sketch of the body, the hind legs are always the most difficult part, but at least they look fine.

Go with light purple, or maybe even a light pink or teal. Yellow will clash with her colour scheme. (It looks go so far, though!)

In the yellow that I was thinking is very, but very soft, near to white, but at the same time a bit golden. But maybe you are right and I should simply go to the tones of her eyes, the combination of gray and purple is fantastic and brings some kind of equilibrium which is comfortable to watch, considering also that combines that mysterious side which Marble hides on herself.

Off white and golden? Pinkish light apricot and white? Greyish cerulean and white?

Simple style, but effective, and very, very cute. Also, absolutely lovely comic, I love how each other seem so happy. I would only say that you could have united both images in a single comic, but it’s a detail. _{Oops, it wasn’t a comic}
