In case people haven’t noticed but at least should be aware now, I’ve put most if not all of my MLP related art into storage for a reason. I would prefer people not just keep following me for one thing and one thing only which is MLP ponies. I don’t do that anymore. Sorry but them’s the breaks so I’ve stored them away so I won’t be misleading others in the future.
 
I’d rather be known for my other works, I don’t want to get a free pass on due to a mistake of thinking I still do MLP ponies.
 
Maybe I will bring them back out when the fandom calms down considerably and I do mean considerably. But now is not the time.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I wonder if she’ll ever be able to truly distance herself from that in particular. Especially since she missed the only chance she had to make it somewhat more acceptable. Keyword SOMEWHAT.

For the record: I enjoyed her artwork. It was cool to see something from a Lesbian’s perspective. At least she came across as one from most of the work that referenced her personally.

I wouldn’t call that a good way to do it.
 
If it was me, I would just leave that account as it is, and create a new account without ever linking the two. A complete fresh start. Some people may still find out, but there would be less nagging.
 
However it turns out though, good luck to her.

I am terribly disappointed. I found her Futashy comics to be incredibly adorable for some undefinable reason.

Well, that sucks. Cartoonlion is one of my favorite artists. Shame to see her go.

Yet again, I see an artist throwing their hands in the air. I don’t see what the hell this is supposed to accomplish.
 
I really like the artist and don’t want to criticize her like this, but I think she’s being pretty stupid. I find very little I can defend about quitting because of your fans. “I’m taking my ball and going home” sounds like a hissy fit no matter how you spin it.
 
It’s not like I’d be against moving on to other projects, if that’s all this was, but her reasoning just completely sits wrong with me.
 
You can’t choose what becomes a hit, and you certainly can’t choose your fans. You’re a damn arrogant fool to think otherwise.

Someone should ask her about Project Moonlight then. Fans donated $1k+ and if she is done with MLP, I’d be pissed if I was a contributor. Query found here

Something tells me so kinda, in all honesty in my opinion this fandom’s seems too be taking every thing too seriously for instance where people are not “Allowed” too do what they want anymore or this fandom will try too pick them a part one by one, fact number 1) The Princess Molestia Blog being attacked, 2) anybody that likes Alicorn Twilight being attacked 3) anybody that has a so called “Hugbox” Blog (I hate that term) Being called a sissy 4) Anybody that is into porn (Even though it’s a little thing that no one pays any mind too) Being called out 5) anybody who draw’s anthro being called a furfag, basically what I’m getting at is it seems like this fandom wont let you do what you want and if you do you will be declared a freak or something like that.
 
 
just look at Equestria Daily (Not to sound rude or anything even though people will think I am) I’m seeing so much name calling on there it’s really just Ridiculous how they react sometimes.
 
So I can see why a lot of people are leaving, It’s not the show it’s the Fans.
 
Me I try not too pay attention to that kind of stuff but sometimes this fandom just does make it impossible too avoid sometimes.

Think she’s making a mistake but it’s her mistake to make and follow what direction she wishes to accomplish. Personally, just leave it as a regular separate folder and move on. Most reasonable folks will accept that some artists move from one subject to another, Andy Price is a well known artist even before doing MLP and Atyrl flips back and forth with his MLP artwork and his other works.
 
I myself am working on school animation and my own artwork but not leaving my own One Piece x MLP. If some followers like my stuff outside of MLP, more power to them, but I would not throw my currently popular artwork just because I wish to go onto hiatus with the fandom.

Funny as it seems yes. I have seen People legitimately get upset if people make a blog that’s not dirty no swear words and no bad stuff.
 
literally saying things like “Why would you make such a pussy ass blog like this, I cant even talk with swear words” and I’m sitting here like, “Wait, this guy’s getting upset about a safe blog but he is ok with watching MLP FIM witch is a safe children’s show!?”
