For my comics, every panel is most important if you want the overall page to look nice. That’s an issue with a lot of amateur nsfw comics is that some will half-ass most of the panels except for the ones they only care about.

That’s not what they were saying. The presentation is cramped when gutters are not used, and a static panel layout kills any sense of energy a comic would have. Every panel in a comic SHOULD be important, but a standard size for every panel doesn’t add to that cause.
