I don’t see anything you have currently on the site, whether it be a comment or post or image, that breaks any of our rules.

Just like every time before, if you want something removed for whatever - whether it’s personal or because you’re embarrassed by it - whatever the reason, just report it for “takedown” and someone will take care of it.

Nothing you have done, said, commented, or posted on this site was ever deleted because of a joke. Not once. Not ever. It was never, ever, about your sense of humor or any of your jokes. If you are still confused about that, please re-read the PMs you were sent in the past explaining what rules you broke, and how, or send me a new PM and please try to describe what it is that’s got you so upset.

1: Fewer than there were a few years ago. Duck badges do get removed if people’s behavior changes, and if their behavior doesn’t change then they tend to get banned for life. But, it’s not really a badge that we give people any more. Instead, we try to work with them to get them to figure out what the problems are and try to get them to be better community members. So, over time, fewer and fewer.

2: If they’re using the default filter, then it’s fine. The site is, by default, set up to be ‘safe for all audiences’. And, we ask that everyone “not view or post any content (they) are forbidden from in (their) jurisdiction” Rule #4. Basically, if someone is causing problems about being underage, like if we find someone whinging on about not being old enough for explicit images, then we will do something about it. But it can really be a case-by-case thing - especially given that we’re an international site and in some jurisdictions what an ‘adult’ is can vary a lot. So if you see something like that please report it and we’ll look at it.

I honestly don’t know. There’s no way for me to test that without being logged in, which means I get the mod view. Under your own profile, below your artist tag, can you see how many watchers you have?

I’ve been thinking it would be nice if there was some sort of depersonalized report for artists, like “Of my watchers, what % upvoted, and what % downvoted, recent uploads?” But that would require a level of Elixir-fu that I’m absolutely nowhere near.

Also, every time I think about how it might be done, it feels like a privacy risk.

I like the idea of giving artists more complete feedback of how well their images are doing, especially for their ‘subscribed audience’. But, not sure how to do it. The site’s not really set up for that kind of thing, and adding it post-market is a little bit like cutting metal in a car’s frame.

That’s … fraught. I love the idea of being able to reward followers with gifts and images and thanks yous and stuff like that. But it immediately opens up the door to gaming getting more followers (“follow me/upvote this image for a preview of next month’s porn!”), and “Why are/aren’t you following me!?” drama.

There’s sites for stuff like that. We’re not really one of those.

I went to college with the remarkable Michael J. Nelson. He is ENORMOUS. I played “Murderer Number 1” when he was MacBeth. In one scene he was supposed to shake me around, but on opening night he literally picked me up and shook me like a little toy. And I was a body builder well over 250 lbs at the time. Michael is HUUUUUGE. Also fun and funny. One of the nicest people I’ve ever known.

So … yes. I know it very well. They were originally just down the street from me when I was working in a secret lights out R&D lab for laser printers - just down Sturdy Oak Road by Channel 9 - if you reach Our Lady Of Perpetual Scaffolding you’ve gone too far. Used to let them know when we were going to throw away a ton of old computers and aluminum extrusions and stuff they could use for sets, then help them raid the dumpsters after hours.

Good times.
