DJ Alex S and Friends

I’m noticing a negative trend going on. A lot of complaints about Alex S and a few other musicians are circulating. They are all about them not making anymore pony music.
 
Some of the musicians want to make other stuff and not only ponies, but some of their fans believe they should only cater to them and ponies only.

Which is kinda silly, because as artists, they should be able to explore what they wish.

I personally don’t like any of the brony musicians (IMO most of them sound amateur-ish), but they should feel free to make non-Pony music if they wanna expand their horizons.

Didn’t Alex S already quit a long time ago?

Yeah, if not for ponies, most of them wouldn’t be popular.

People shouldn’t bug them to make music that they don’t want to make but it’s to be expected. When you attract a large following for doing a specific thing that people like, they are going to want to keep seeing that from you.
 
It’s like Nostalgia Critic when he tried to quit. Demo Reel might have been one of the worst things I’ve ever watched but at least it was what he wanted to do. Shame he felt he had to throw in the towel so quickly on it.
 
Then again, I don’t really like the Nostalgia Critic either. I’m just using him as an example.

well that’s just plain rude, they can do whatever they want.
 
Really when I hear stuff like this I think too my self, for the people that are complaining and yelling at them like that you do relies your actually driving them away from the fandom witch means you will get even lesser pony music from them right?

From what I’ve caught from some weeks ago, it’s more about them “sorta” leaving but not and they continue to dwell on it, I guess. Along side of that, the claims about how the whole community of brony musicians, including its formers, is just terrible.
 
Alex S’s music is fine, but I don’t like him for other reasons.
