I think after this one I’m taking a break, I’m getting burned out on Dank souls 1. Seath’s areas haven’t given me any repreieve, I’m surprised honestly how much easier I had it with the spooky dooks in the Spookbyss.

man.. am I getting too emotional? I was watching TBFP Dark Souls 2 intro and I gotta say.. fuck me, it’s so good..
 
I think the same of Dark Souls 1’s intro too, god damn nostalgia driving songs! Why you gotta make me feel emotional and shiet!… not that I mind though.

not like it matters. DS1 proper has about 566 right now as of looking, while remastered has about 766 or something along those numbers. It’s bad for either one and it’s no one’s fault but whoever pushed the remaster in the first place.

As someone who couldn’t play DS1, the port was a good thing.

yeah. To me, they shouldn’t have bothered with steam, that one should’ve been left on its own, it was a bad deal if they gave it for free or sold it, bad one for them if free and looking not great to the console owners, bad for the PC community for selling the same game twice with minimal updates, when compared to the DSFix and modding community that picked up where they slacked off many years ago.
 
A damn shame really. Maybe now that they got their money, they’ll merge both games into 1. That is a high hope and I don’t think it’ll happen.

Well, there’s a load of mods for to remaster now at least.

finished with ds1 ngs for now.
 
 
started DS2 again, this time with Ancient Dragon.

Ladle-only run could be fun, but too bad that thing breaks too quickly. I’m far from being able to mundane it too.

ancient dragon is dead right now btw, now I’m stuck at an ascetic reset Belfry Gargoyles, because I can’t find a time to attack. serves me right I guess, for all the trash I talked about them, when you get 3 most of the time, or 4 of them sometimes. :/
 
 
at least, now I finally understand what the whole shpiel about Dual wielding is. Truth be told, I don’t see the big benefit of it, I guess it does something, but because staggering enemies is, well, non-existent, I guess it only works while ‘sploring the world, or something? everyone who is doing bosses still 1 hands a weapon and spams R1 from what I’ve seen.
