I don’t know why I’m doing this but I’m listening to Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish currently.

As much as I harp on Bizkit and nu-metal as a whole, I will give them partial credit and say that unlike a lot of bands of the genre, they sound like they’re having fun, even if I think the frontman Fred Durst is an untalented hack.

I’ll admit it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve heard or anything, I was expecting Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish to be a lot worse than it actually was.

Worst album I listened to recently was Kid Rock - Devil Without A Cause, that was fucking awful. Funnily enough I used to like some songs off of it when I was a kid.

ToddInTheShadows’s new video:
Beginning of the video: “This new emo rap trend is what we needed”
End of the video: “On second thought, it’s not for me”
Me: “Make up your goddamn mind!!!”
Also, it hurt me that he dissed “Lucid Dreams”, one of my favorite songs from this year.

Also, the fact that he compared “Lucid Dreams” to “Welcome To My Life” by Simple Plan. HOW?! They are NOTHING alike in lyrical content!

I don’t understand his hate boner for Post Malone. He’s one of the hardest working men in the music business.

I mean, I don’t care if he doesn’t like Post Malone (I myself aren’t too big on him either, though I do like 2 songs from him). I’m glad that he gave him some credit towards his song, which isn’t that bad of a song. What I really didn’t like was his diss against Juice WRLD’s song. I personally love the song and while it does have its flaws, I think he blew them out of proportion and wasn’t fair with it.

Serious question for my metal buddies, if I was trying to introduce somebody to metal what songs/bands should I start out with?

Oh boy, that’s quite a question…I’d recommend start with Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Black Sabbath (if they’re not familiar with those bands or their contemporaries) and go on chronologically from there.
This Wikipedia page could be helpful, though possibly overwhelming:

How you feel about that is how I felt when he included Take Me To Church in his nominations of worst songs of the year.

If they’re completely new to metal, show them Iron Maiden first. Iron Maiden is arguably the best place to start, they’re a great band, but still accessible to metal newcomers. Then see if they’re willing to get into the less mainstream stuff.

I am the proud owner of every album in the W.A.S.P Discography. The first time I listened to “wild child” I just had to own all their music. W.A.S.P Is honestly one of the best Metal and hard rock bands of all time and is still going strong today with a release as recent as 2017. The Singer and frontman of the band, Blackie Lawless, Has a voice like a molten metal hurricane and it’s only gotten better with age. He sounds just as good Live as he does on the record.
I Reccommend the albums “Dominator” and “the Crimson Idol” for first timers but W.A.S.P has never released a bad album so you can’t go wrong no matter where you start.

not going to lie, when I 1st heard the term “black metal”, I didn’t think of Satanism & corpse paint but instead, I thought… well, that. XD

I know tons of wrestling fans who became fans of Fozzy, but I don’t know a single Fozzy fan who became a wrestling fan because of Fozzy.
