I decided to try out a new facial hair style last week, along with a hair trim. Mutton chops, ladies and gents!

Well, let’s just say I have my other reason for offing it, at least for now. When beards get as long and chunky as mine did, they get rather hard to manage. I will grow it back, but it may not be as mangy as it was before. Plus, I really like the mutton chop look, so I just decided to try the look out for myself

I could go deeper with my reasoning: Like, it feels good (though it did feel strange at first) to let my chin “breathe more fresh air”, as it were, after nearly five years of maintaining the same beard style. Also, for some reason, I feel like this style gives off a kind of “70s British rock musician” vibe… maybe cos I’ve seen a lot of rock stars from around that era with that look. Also, I’m really into 70s music.
