I got, like, I guess at the end of April when it was released on Steam, and I’ve been loving it; however, the nature of the game has got me to thinking:
Obviously, it makes use of classic 2D platforming, complete with pixel art; on the other hand, the environments are clearly 3D, which legitimately affects the gameplay. So, is it a 2D platformer like the classic NES games, a 2.5D platformer like Pandemonium or Klonoa, or a genre bender?
