Redbox is officially no more, as all kiosks are being shut down and 1,000 people are being let go.

I saw the warning signs when my employer took the Redbox stand out of service just about a week before they went bankrupt. Now the bankruptcy has turned into liquidation.

If I were to describe the movie, I’d call it “Live Action Anime” done perfectly.

Best part? It’s not a live action adaptation of any anime. It just employs cartoon and anime tropes but on live action.

Am I the only person who doesn’t hate streaming and doesn’t want the world to go backwards and be entertainment cavemen with zero future and zero innovation in home entertainment?

Sure, a-la-carte channels, price raises, content removal, password sharing crackdowns, not being able to coexist with physical media and corporate greed are things that do piss me off with streaming, but I still like them regardless.
