The dog pissed twice on the floor overnight and one of the cats pissed on the coffee cake. This kind of thing happens regularly. With the dog it’s practically every day. Every time my parents are furious but they never do anything about it. They let these damn animals run their lives. My mother wakes up early every day to let the dog out for all the good it does. She regularly washes soiled towels and rugs.
I’ve urged her to have the dog and cat put down because they are nothing but a burden and she would be happier without them. My mother wants to do it. She wants to have a new dog to train and walk and she wants to be able to leave things on the counter without worrying about them being ruined. Her life could be improved if she were not such a bleeding heart.
