Yeah, sorry Woody and Buzz, but Meilin Lee is my new favorite Pixar character. (at least until we meet Wade in Pixar’s next movie “Elemental”)

Speaking of that, in “Lightyear” the vending machine that holds the “meat sandwiches” also has a package of cookies from the “Poultry Palace” (the chicken-themed restaurant in the Toy Story short “Small Fry”) and bottles of “Wade Water”, again one of Pixar’s traditional early-bird easter eggs.

So the newest player coming to Disney Heroes is Quasimodo.

I knew he would eventually get in especially since Esmeralda was added long before.

Still waiting for characters like Pinocchio, Yen Sid, King Candy, anyone from Encanto, Luca, Star Butterfly, and Anne Boonchuy but this is fine as well.

One of the first movies I’m gonna watch with mom after her cataracts surgery this month is “The Great Mouse Detective”.

I’m just happy Mei’s in. I was hoping one of her friendships would be with Mulan, she would geek out at meeting the legendary Chinese warrior herself in person, Mei would probably ask if she knows her ancestor Sun Yee.

Also my level is currently 141.

In my defense, I didn’t know the game existed until last April, and I initially got it because I’d heard about the crossover and how characters can talk to each other, like Felix and Olaf, Genie and Elsa, etc.

When I’m not doing the prize walls, I’m planning to grind and get all my under-ranked characters higher up. Currently Mei, Agent P and The Mayor are my red-rank fighters. (And yes, Mei was the first to reach that color)

I bet we’ll get “Strange World” characters into the game sometime next year.

That’s cool, and yes I am happy Mei got in as well.
I forget when I first started playing the game myself but I’m already up to level 280 and pretty much have all the characters currently unlocked.
Now I’m focusing on just raising my character’s states and abilities, I’ve already got a couple characters in the Yellow ranks at least (King Louie, Ariel, Snow White, Honey Lemon, and Mickey Mouse)

Apparently there is a debate over whether the gargoyles from Hunchback of Notre Dame are real or figments of Quasimodo’s imagination.
Granted there are a lot of ideas to support both sides for sure, like the final battle where they protect the cathedral or Hugo revealing himself to Esmeralda’s goat, but for me personally I think they are figments for a few reasons in my opinion:

Obviously whenever someone is with Quasi they turn back to stone, and considering when we see them alive it’s usually only when Quasi is with them or when they are looking down on the town. I always thought they represented parts of Quasi’s own personality, like how Hugo is his abrasive side wanting to be free and have fun, Victor is his intellectual side who wants to show how sophisticated he can be, and Laverne is his soft and caring side. The final battle you could make the argument it was all Quasimodo, the town fighting back Frollo’s soldiers, Notre Dame being an enormous building, you see the gargoyles fight in various ways one at a time and doing things Quasi can do (even Hugo shooting rocks like a machine gun could just be him throwing rocks and falling objects from high locations causes greater impact.)
The last thing that convinces me though is the gargoyles not helping Quasi and Esmeralda when they are being attacked by Frollo, I mean even just the sight of them talking would be enough to give Frollo a heart attack but seriously though there’s no reason for them to not help especially if his and hers lives are in danger.

Anyways those are just my thoughts, what does anyone else think?

I’m starting to think they quietly canceled the “Kingdom Hearts” TV series for Disney+.

I’m not too sure if that was ever officially announced

Just got done with The Little Mermaid episode “A Marriage of Inconvenience”.

Miss Bellwether is being added to Disney Heroes, personally I still would prefer King Candy but I guess better her then Hans I guess.
Though is it considered a spoiler to the movie adding her in that way?

I’m brainstorming a little sequel based on “Turning Red” about a teenage boy who has kitsune powers and befriends Mei and her 4Townies.

Maybe a TV series where the 4Townies befriend several more students who also have animal powers and have life lessons?
