Looks like they are adding Kaa and Bagheera to Disney Heroes

I do question a little why they didn’t add Shere Khan since he would have a lot more to offer gameplay wise over Bagheera, but doesn’t bother me since I’m just glad to see more Jungle Book characters being added to the game, and hopefully in the future we get to see Shere Khan and maybe Mowgli.

If anyone needs me, I’mma binge on Book of Boba Fett.

Lol I still love that show.

I have… Mixed feelings about the upcoming meta-as-hell “movie.”
I’m not keen on some things, like the new “normal pitched” voices, and the whole “behind the scenes” gimmick, and meta-humor in general is extremely overdone. So it looks too modernized…

Though, on the other hand, I kinda like the “Roger Rabbit” aspect, (Roger even gets a cameo) and it’s riffing, and satire of the animation industry, and industry cliche’s looks hilarious.

I’ve heard rumors the plot centers around Gadget being kidnapped by the Russian cult that worships her.

Just watched Turning Red on Disney+ and it is really good.
The story is good, the characters are entertaining, I like the sorta chibi animation like something out of Studio Ghibli, and as a Canadian I do like all the references made in the film (whether it’s the CN Tower in the background, the proper currency being used, or even the characters eating Tim Horton’s Timbits)

Also some side note: It’s easy to see the movie as a metaphor for going through puberty But I wasn’t expecting the mother to actually think her daughter was discovering her period and thus supply her with tons of tampons, I mean seriously for a Disney movie that’s pretty ballsy to do.

Attention anyone familiar with the Disney classics!

Trying to identify a movie I saw during my childhood in the auditorium at school - I’m pretty sure it was a Disney movie. All I remember is a panning overhead view of a square flight of stairs [inside a house] and some creature flying over them: my mind seems to think it was a pegasus. It’s definitely not Hercules though, my brain has latched onto Peter Pan. Sound familiar?

I got my Mei plush from Build-a-Bear Workshop, she’s so fluffy!

Yeah, some of the humor/designs of the RR “movie” look off, but it looks like it might have some good, and genuinely funny things.

Considering Dale had the “CGI surgery,” maybe it was intentional on him as part of the satire of how some things don’t work in CGI. (Though, some of the satire is lost as Chip is obviously cel-shaded CGI too.)

I kinda hope it does have the Gadget Hackwrench cult, that would be hilarious. Though, I hope they don’t pull a “Movie Scrappy Doo,” and make her secretly the villain. That would anger many RR and Gadget fans…

However the Rescue Rangers movie turns out, I still don’t care for the voices.
I know they’ll probably explain it as these being their “real” voices, and the cartoon is just their “put on” voices, but it still just sounds wrong.
Also this weird hyper meta thing is most definitely not what I wanted from a new Rescue Rangers incarnation.

Agreed, I’m not keen on the new voices. (I hate to imagine how Gadget will sound.) I would of prefered like a reboot like Ducktales had. Still, I might give it a look.

It does feel like meta humor has been getting overdone sense the ‘90s though.
Some stuff like Homestar Runner, Deadpool, and Looney Tunes did meta humor perfectly, but it feels like everything can’t take itself seriously.

The original RR cartoon may be a bit corny/silly, but it at least took itself somewhat seriously.
