You and Dirty Bit make great points. It would explain a few things. Perhaps this is how Shanks get to fight Luffy, who will be angry about his mentor working for people arguably worse than Orochi and Blackbeard, who both have “reasons” for being evil (Blackbeard also has a lot of charm and would be fun to be around if he was good(ish)).
By the way, I just realized something: none of the Celestial Dragons are wearing bubbles. I guess it’s because they’re breathing “untainted air” or something like that.

Isn’t it funny how St. Charloss is the series’ punching bag at this point?

So Cobra really bit the dust, but not before an awesome reveal and going out like a badass. Also, Wapol’s anxious appearance from chapters prior makes even more sense than before. It’s nice to see that he’s decent enough to not celebrate Cobra’s death like that.
The last scene with Vivi escaping with Wapol and Wapol’s wife getting the wrong idea was hilarious.

A couple of things…
  • After the release of Chapter 1086, Oda will be taking a 4-week break as he will be recovering from eye surgery in order to correct his astigmatism.
  • The Live Action Straw hats will be present for Netflix’s TUDUM event which will take place in Brazil on June 17th and it will also be live 1:30 PM PT/4:30 PM ET. There’s a chance we can get to see some BTS/Sneak Peeks in regards to show and maybe a small teaser trailer.

Hm…Not bad, actually. Even Usopp looks great.
As for the trailer: Much like the live-action Cowboy Bebop trailer, I got Scott Pilgrim vibes. Made me chuckle a few times, but I gotta keep my expectations in check. Then again, I’m sure Oda did well with overseeing the project in a whole.

I wish they did made his eyebrow curly, but I can live with it. Honestly, I’m glad they decided to forgo the pinnochio nose for Usopp. It’d be a pain to keep that thing on since Usopp suffers a lot of physical abuse. As long as he tells some good lies, acts cowardly, and acts like a sniper I think I’ll be good.
