Your system may be easier to break down, but it’s based on factors that are no less arbitrary than the imperial one. It just goes through the extra effort of painting itself with a veneer of being based on scientific phenomena to give itself the appearance of greater legitimacy.

I find it frustrating how many people criminaly misunderstand the daoist principle of the yin and yang. Talk to most people and they’ll just spout off a platitude about about how opposing forces are complimentary never realsing that’s a twisted oversimplification. What the principle actually entails is that extreme opposing forces are essentially identical in that the spark of one exists in the other and eventually one will become the other. the ideal is to try and reach balance where the shifts in these forces aren’t as extreme. for crying out loud it’s IN THE DAMN DIAGRAM!

Who would win in a whore-off? Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel, or Roger Smith from American Dad?

I used to think Britian was the last stronghold for Imperial units. of course that was the past. It reminds me of this 1978 video asking what they thought of the new system. These folks clesrly grew up when Britian was still a superpower.
