So yeah Trump basically give the PB and other hate groups free press and screen time. It was such a simple question. Just condemn them. Trump when his back was against the wall, when the moment of truth was upon him. He chose to embolden hate rather than condemn it. Its a really sad day for the Republican party.

How anyone can see Trump’s displays as “manly” or “powerful” is beyond me.
He’s a sniveling, petulant manchild who kicks and shouts when he doesn’t get his way. It was honestly embarrassing, and anyone who conflates that with “strength” needs to get their fucking head examined.

Years of conservative propaganda and anti intellectualism gave people the impression that they knew more than the experts. Its a useful tool to keep money and power out of the hands of the people and causes them to vote against their best interest. Like believing privatization is the best solution to fixing America’s aging infustructure despite what happened in Michigan where a dam owned by a Trump supporter busted due to poor care. Causing untold property damage and home loss.

It’s why I agree with the people on Chapo Trap House, which is where I first heard the above observation, when they say that it’s a fool’s errand to try and appeal to republicans. Biden should be doing everything in his power to not alienate the left…yet he won’t support M4A, defund the police, reform immigration, reform the criminal justice system, and stands behind all the shitty policies that he pushed for in the 90’s that led to BLM and ACAB.
All he has to do to win is say he’ll implement M4A in his first term, and it’ll be in the bag.
