Recent polling and trends are finding a very interesting result. Younger voters, Y and Z, are far more motivated by policy and stances than specific politicians.

Biden has like, anti-hype. And yet Dems have overperformed in every election during his presidency.
Historically speaking the President’s approval among the populous does have a trickle effect on people voting for their party. So Biden being the whitest bread in the market isn’t hurting the party at least.

Between other matters - including expelling Santos - this means Republicans will have a majority of only 2 seats in the House.

Kevs seat is likely decently safe, and the redistricting in NC and Ohio netted them a few seats.
That being said, dems picked up a couple of seats recently and Florida and New York may end up with more friendly maps by 2024.
Either way, the Republicans are not in an enviable position in the House.

Just watched the latest installment of The Alt-Right Playbook by Innuendo Studios. They still hit home even with (or perhaps because of) the shorter length format they transitioned to.
This one is about what Ian Danskin has opted to call “Dido-ing”, as a reference to the line “It’s not so bad” in the song Thank You by Dido. The more academic term would be “the Tolerable Level of Permanent Unhappiness.”
It is set in the context of the neverending discourse over whether we should include a content/trigger warning on certain sensitive topics. Those who oppose their use are engaging in Dido-ing.

I feel he’s mostly gliding on past successes, specially since he hasn’t changed the title. “Alt right” is a couple years outdated, from when fascism wasn’t the outright platform of the Republican party. Now that they’ve fully embraced it and that the less insane elements are being kicked out in favor of screaming lunatics, being sane is the alternate take.

I’m seeing a lot of parallels between Trump’s latest interview with Hannity and the last time Alex Jones tried to interview Ye.
Between Jones and Ye, the latter stated how he loves Hitler. Jones tried to soften the blow and said “You mean you like the uniforms, right?” only for Ye to double down and straight up almost sing “I love Hit-leeeeeeeeer”.
Fast forward to today, and Hannity asks Trump about how all the Dems and mainstream media are saying he wants to be a dictator. Trump admits it yeah, he’ll be a dictator on Day 1. Hannity tries to set Trump up to walk it back, only for Trump to also double down and re-admit that he intends to be a Day 1 dictator.

Trump suffered several legal losses over the weekend with his attempts to appeal.One of the biggest was his attempt to appeal a ruling saying he can be sued by police/families of police who suffered injury or worse during Jan 6. So of course last night he threw a fit and said that Capital police should be prosecuted for their actions on Jan 6.When someone tells you who they are, believe them.
