During the Republican convention, they invited several of the “Fake Electors” that were meant to give the election to Trump even though Biden won the state. One of them even introduced Trump to the stage!
Wisconsin Republican Party chief Brian Schimming was confronted by CNN’s Kate Bolduan on Monday over why the GOP in his state is sending people who took part in the fake elector scheme as delegates to the national convention — and he was quick to defend them as “good Republicans” who didn’t believe anything they were doing was against the law.
What it says is there are a lot of good Republicans that were involved in these elector situations in some of the states who didn’t believe they were doing anything illegal at all,” Schimming replied. “So really we have good, good Republicans, as do other states, that are in their delegations that didn’t feel as though they were doing anything wrong, and in some states that was the legal feeling on it too, so that’s not an issue for us at all.”

The logical endpoint of this kind of logic, that it’s achtually legal to disobey an “illegitimate” law is what’s coming during the elections. They’re not even hiding that their plan is to bypass the whole process, declare victory regardless of the results and use SCOTUS to steal it for them.

To clarify, the new law in question is a ban on school districts requiring faculty to notify the parents of trans children when they move to change their gender identification. This could save the lives of trans kids whose parents would react with hostility - or even violence - should they find out.

Yeah, uh, a couple problems with that.
- If true then what are you going to do about it? It was an “Official Act”.
B) All the proof you need that Biden wasn’t behind it is the fact that Trump isn’t dead. You really think that if the POTUS wants you dead then you won’t turn up dead? Several attendees were warning of a suspicious man on the roof for several minutes. A police officer climbs up to check on Crooks, before dropping back down when Crooks pointed his gun at him. Crooks then immediately turned and fired at Trump.

Similarly, the two-man sniper team which took out the shooter were apparently in a position that only gave them line of sight when he crawled into position before firing, despite the roof itself being a prime location that should’ve been secured. You can see the one kneeling recoil in surprise when the first shots ring out, which is…. certainly weird.

The first set of polls since Trump’s assassination attempt has not shown him gaining in popularity.
Of course we need to wait and see how that goes for the rest of the week, and the polls still point to him still having a slight lead over Biden, but as of right now it appears he’s not particularly enjoying any post-tragedy Rally Around The Flag effect.
As I said before, polls have been iffy for years now so who knows the reality.

Why would he make it public?
If Biden really DID want Trump dead, why would he risk doing it out in the open and hiring some untrained dweeb to be the one to do it? If he wanted a successful assassination he could have just had a member of the SS drop a cyanide pill on Trump’s diet coke, or inject poison into his Trump Steak.
It reminds me of a post i saw about these types of theories.
The alt-right thinks that the Left are secretly in control of everything and can kill anyone at a moments notice, yet they also have to channel in their inner The Riddler and go around dropping not so subtle clues saying that they are gonna kill someone

That’s been my biggest bugbear about right wing conspiracy theories. They see something suspicious or unusual and take it to the dumbest conclusion ever when the real answer is typically the most straightforward.
Like COVID vaccines. No, they aren’t trying to inject 5G nanomachines into your bloodstream to monitor you. They can do that by wiretapping the phone in your pocket. The vaccines were just a cynical compromise to get the plebs back to work making your boss rich off your labor. The real Big Pharma conspiracy is the one they are doing right in front of you: charging you over 1000% for life saving drugs.
Or 9/11 Truthers. No, the government didn’t crash a plane into the World Trade Center or the Pentagon to take your rights away. They got incompetent, let some terrorists highjack a few planes under their nose, and jumped at opportunity to use the resulting influx of patriotic fervor to increase it’s reach. Once again the conspiracy is the one in the open.
That’s basically the theme here. A healthy degree of skepticism is not only good for keeping a check on power, it’s also fun. But jumping for the low hanging fruit makes you sound like Alex Jones at best and a useful idiot for the real conspiracy at worst.

There’s a common uniting thread to all those conspiracies, they always have the same endgoal of splitting the population into two “camps”. You’re either “In the know” (or “pureblooded” when it comes to the vaccine), or you’re “the other”. Two conspiracy theorists will almost immediately compare theories and purity test one another, adding more and more conspiracies to their list to make sure they keep “up to date” on what to be afraid of. Inevitably this pipelining of bullshit encompasses the “Jewish Question”, “Globalists”, “Antifa” and so on, which is ultimately when it stops being “wacky” and reaches the core ideology being espoused. Shocker: it’s fascism again.
Folding Ideas’ “In Search of a Flat Earth” video explains it pretty well, the “innocent” conspiracies are best seen as lures placed to pull in unwary viewers towards the truly blackpilled shit like QAnon, using plausible deniability to avoid being held accountable for the radicalization going on behind the scenes. It only got better and better over time, to the point where it’s typical to be gaslit that those tactics aren’t really taking place, you’re the one being a conspiracy theorist… to be put on a list.
