I expect Harris to fall in the trap most people do when dealing with Trump: trying to correct him.
You can’t. He lies so much and says so many absurd things that trying to do so wastes time, doesn’t let you say anything important, and brings everything down to his level. You need to mock his idiocy and move on to talk about what you wanted to talk about.
She also has to avoid going too into detail or give specific numbers and dates, it’s just an opportunity to get things wrong, and then, despite Trump talking about monkeys on the moon, everyone will just be talking about “Uhm, actually, Harris lied about X, it’s 2.44% not 2.5%!”. Trump isn’t gonna give any, he’s just going to drop his usual “Like you’ve never seen before”, “nobody even thought numbers like these were possible”, and “sir, sir it’s so big sir, how did you make it so big Mr President?” crap.
A debate with Trump isn’t a debate where reality is in the room, that got tossed out the second that orange clown entered the arena.
