The new monsters in Pacific Rim 2 are looking pretty neat

I really liked the muto in godzilla 2014.  

 
When I watched arrival I thought the heptapods were goign to turn out to be the hands of some form of eldritch entity hidden in the fog.

The movie 9 had some really cool mechanical monsters.

9 is an underrated movie in general, but the creature designs were especially good

Splatterhouse is such an underrated horror video game.

Damn shame the remake wasn’t very good, at least from what I hear

Those monsters are all cute, but none compare to the horrors in Warhammer 40k

Actually, the remake was pretty good, professional critics just weren’t kind to it (which isn’t surprising, since they weren’t kind to the original games either). It’s flawed and not for everyone, admittedly, but it’s not a terrible game like what the critics made it out to be.
 
It’s also a shame that Bandai Namco never seems to want to acknowledge the Splatterhouse series. They recently included the original arcade game on the latest version of Namco Museum for the Switch, which is pretty cool, but other than that, Splatterhouse usually never gets any sort of references in other games (at least none that I know of) or any representation in big crossovers (imagine Rick Taylor in a Project X Zone game interacting with characters from Capcom’s Resident Evil and Sega’s House of the Dead).

Really? It wouldn’t be the first game to be that way, I just bought Bullet Witch, which was a game that critics weren’t overly kind to when it came out and I liked it. I guess the Splatterhouse remake is another thing to check it out.

Seriously, though.  
I do prefer regular Warhammer fantasy to 40k.  
Mostly because I feel the former does so much more with it’s premise than just “hey, let’s do this again…BUT IN SPAAAAAAACE~”
