We just finally visited Enchanted River.

My goodness, this place REALLY lived up to it’s name!

We swam this river and the water there is soo prestine, you can easily see the bottom of the surface.

We just visited 3 different tourist destinations in just 2 days in just the very first 2 days of 2023… FUCKING CRAAAAAAZZZYYYYY!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍

First, we went to see that amazing waterfalls, then rode a boat going into that Fish Cage Hotel.

We stayed and slept overnight on that hotel with those manta rays, sharks, and tunas.

The next day we swam and fed those fishes before we left and sailed towards the Enchanted River.

Here’s a full recap pics & gifs of what we visited yesterday and today:

Approx. 6:30 AM - We left home in Tagum City, Davao for Tinuy-An Falls in Bislig, Surigao Del Sur.
10:00 AM - Arrived in Tinuy-An Falls.
10:10 AM to 10:30 AM - We ate breakfast right beside the falls.
10:30 AM to 11:20 AM - Sightseeing and photo-op of the falls.
11:20 AM to 1:00 PM - Left the Tinuy-An Falls, Arrived in Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur and left our pickups rides in Cambatong Port.
1:20 PM to 1:25 PM - We sailed from Cambatong Port to Sibadan Fish Cage Resort via. motorized boat.
1:25 PM to 1:50 PM - We ate Lunch on the concessions area of the Fish Cage Resort right beside the manta rays, sharks, tunas, and blue marlins.
1:50 PM to 7:30 PM - We took rest at the hotel of the resort.
7:30 PM to 9:00 PM - Dinner at the resort.
9:00 PM to 6:30 AM - Sleep

6:30 AM to 11:20 AM - Woke up, had our breakfast and then swam with the fishes.
11:20 AM to 12:00 PM - Short rest, and left the resort for island hopping.
12:00 PM - Arrival at Enchanted River through the riverbanks.
12:00 PM to 12:20 PM - Feeding show at the heart of the river and storytelling about the history of the river.
12:20 to 3:00 PM - We swam at the river.
3:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Had our very late lunch at the site’s restaurant.
4:00 PM to 8:45 PM - Left the Enchanted River and rode back home.

It has truly been a wild, adventurous, and family-relative bonding first 2 days of 2023 trip ever and it will be etched in my mind as one of the greatest and most memorable trips in my whole entire life. It has been awhile since I saw and swam the seas since 2017, rode a boat since 2015, and also saw a first times like interacting with sea creatures like manta ray, swam alongside those creatures, and swam through a prestine waters of the famous river.

I rate this trip a 9.6-10. This will be remembered in my mind for many years as much as my long past trips several years ago.

Also, all of that makes me hope even more that I will have some goos travel opportunities this year myself

One of my platoonmates has a drop dead gorgeous girlfriend and this was basically my response to him upon seeing her

I knew there was a shark in that pool! (If you look carefully close right below the second stingray.)

Nobody believed me because they said i’m trying to scare them to go in the water. Lol

One more year and it’ll be the Year of the Dragon, my year.

Went barefoot to my local gas station to get a cold brew and some chips. It’s my first barefooting outing in a long while which I couldn’t do because of the cold weather and not having a lot of good opportunities to do so. I also went and bought some ugly looking sandals cause I am planning on going to my local park and throwing out these sandals to the trash to see how it’s like losing your shoes and not having anything else to fall back on.

I’m feeling sad and melancholic right now man…

We will be flying back home in Manila tonight. I actually had so much astonishing memories and experience visiting beautiful places and meeting lots of mother’s relatives which I didn’t know she had that much many. I will cherish this 14 days of positive and slightly negative things that have happened to me on this vacation.

Starting tomorrow, my life is unfortunately gonna be really boring again for idk how many years to come but at the very safe of my own crib.

And now were home. My house feels completely small compared to the house of my mother’s relatives we stayed to for 2 weeks.

This is the hardest yet relaxing part about the post-trip. I feel really sad, lonely and isolated due to the fact that I got to talk with the people I didn’t realize they were my long lost cousins and they were alot of them. But sure reminiscing all those awesome moments and highlights of the trip makes my mind go completely comfortably numb and in complete serenity.

My life from here and on is gonna be unfortunately boring again. 😔😬

I’m going through a serious case of post-travel depression right now.

I wish our trip was longer than how actually long it was. Two weeks of all that felt like a crazy fever dream that I have woken up this morning feeling better.

This is completely fine under normal circumstances since people enshrine deep core moments that will last for many years. It’ll buff out in a few weeks hopefully.
