I am very interested in this Doki Doki Literature Club game after reading a synopsis.
 
A psychological horror game with a meta-style storytelling. That’s pretty neat.

The pyro gets a new secondary in the vein of jarate or mad milk. Coat another pyro in it and they can get afterburn.

It’s not exactly spectacular, but very well-made. Incidentally, I wrote a review for it today on Steam and had way too much fun with it. There’s something entertaining about a DDLC review that doesn’t really spoil anything, but constantly makes subtle (or not so subtle) references to in-game events.

Damn, the first world bosses are tough as is but they get even harder on world 2.

New Pyro weapons look cool.

ya, genuinely excited about them. considering their the first weapons in a LONG time, they better be fun. Though with how the flamethrower works now, the iconic puff-and-sting combo might be changed. On the flip side, airblasts sound like the most absurd thing considering the boost.

Unless the banana can be dropped for a medium health kit then I think it might be underpowered compared to the sandvich or dalokah bar.
 
Also unless the hot hand gives a perma-boost then it’s pretty much just the eviction notice (and fish) for pyro.

Considering all his other lunchbox items are droppable, I don’t see why it wouldn’t.

Dalokah bar and reskins drop for a small med kit. If the banana also drops for a small kit then it just won’t have a niche that the dalokah or sandvich doesn’t already cover.

I’d say it really depends on what it drops as. If it’s a small kit then the banana is underpowered; you’re better off just taking the bar. If it drops as a medium kit then, while the sandvich is better for the hoovy, the banana helps your team out since the hoovy can heal 50% a teammate’s health every 15 seconds instead of 30.
 
That’s where the banana’s niche can be: inclining the heavy towards a slightly more mini-medic role.
