Hi, I would like to know how long it usually takes for the ‘artist link’ to be successfully verified.
Beacuse I have already submitted for about 15 hours but it hasn’t been any change.

We don’t have a lot of volunteers who can work with Chinese sites. That said, it can take days for a link to be verified - this is a volunteer run site. I did verify your links, thank you for posting the verification link - that helps a lot. You may remove it now if you’d like.

Thank you very much! <3
I’m sorry I overlooked this serious issue. I thought this website already had Chinese volunteers to verify these things. How silly I am!/^\
Although I have a X account, I have never posted my work there, which worried me that it may lead to rejection of verification.

How do i best report an anon user doing mass spam in the comment section?
That boot fetish anon is back again and has been spamming the same types of comments in a lot of images, but it’s a pain in the ass to list them all under the one report becuase there are so many

One report saying at the start that it’s affecting multiple images should be enough.

Is it possible to see my deleted comments? I want to know the reasons for their deletion. It would be cool if a user could receive notifications about violations of the rules.

If you have questions about why things on the site broke rules, you can come to Support on our Discord server, but you only have one deleted comment, and it’s one that you asked us to delete.
So you’re the only person who knows why you wanted us to delete it.

My stats says I have 150 comments, but there are only 145 comments in the recent comments section. I remember that selfreport, and what about the others? where are they?

No; the site used to do this, it lead to staff being swamped with complaints because people’s “I want to fuck scootaloo!” comments on show screencaps (and similar shit) being deleted.

You have only the one self-reported comment deleted, and none on any deleted images. The other 4 must must be on images you filter.

Understood.

I switched to the Everything filter, and still the other 4 are missing. Looks like they’re on deleted images.

So I was wondering which version of an image to upload since the artist uploads their art to multiple different sites, and because each site has their own quirks, there could be arguments for either one.
Also, the images are NSFW, so consider yourselves warned chilluns.

The argument for the Twitter one is that, pretty point blank, its dimensions are bigger. Considering their round numbers, it could also maybe be argued that it’s the original size the artist output the image as. However, it has the wonderful hallmarks of compression, as Twitter loves to do, and they are pretty noticeable from just a regular zoom-in. Its file size is also pretty small to boot.
The argument for the FA one is that it’s both PNG, a more desirable image format, and the file size.. well, it’s perhaps a misnomer to say bigger file size = better quality, but you at least don’t see the jaggies in there, and the greater amount of information leads to smoother gradient changes and other good stuffs. However, FA does its own version of manipulating uploaded images, and it seems to shrink the dimensions of the image itself, for some reason. I recall there being a way to work around it, but fuck if I can remember what it is anymore, or if it even still works.
So, yeah. A lot of words to say “Which one should I upload?” I’m more in favor of the FA one myself.
I guess I’m wondering if there are any general guidelines to follow in a situation like this, too. I tried doing a cursory search through the forums for an appropriate thread regarding the topic or if there were things about it in the “About Uploading” section, but couldn’t find anything really. Thanks.
Also sorry for the post being so long, I was gonna make a thread about it, but I dunno, perhaps posting in this thread is better.

I’m not too experienced with site protocall but an artist recently uploaded a higher quality yet slightly different version of a previously uploaded image what should I do about this. should I just upload the higher quality image as it’s own post?
edit: nevermind decided to upload the new version still would like an answer for future refrence.

People do that sometimes. Then they would report the submission and ask for a merge cause they found the higher quality version.
I actually even did this once myself.

Hi. So an artist I am friends with on deviantart had their art posted here and the comments on their work are very negative with a lot of down votes, borderline hostile actually. There are also a few edits of their art that are trollish. Lots of said comments violate rule zero but it will take me forever to report them all and I don’t want to clog up the help desk and abuse the report system.
Upon further investigation I have discovered this form of bullying has happened to some other artists on here as well and I think the trolls are posting the art here so they can harass the artists to get around the rules on other sites like DA knowing full well if they pull moves like that there they will get banned.
Any insight into this and what you can do to make sure this doesn’t happen again? Thanks
