Speaking of, the uploader description doesn’t appear to take the >>#####p/t embedding. Is it possible to add that?

Under sharing you used to be able to get two links for posting pics in Derpibooru, the short >>#####t/p one, and a longer one that looked like:  
“!https://derpicdn.net/img/2016/2/14/1087917/large.jpeg!”:/1087917

You can still make them manually of course, but since the quick feature’s been removed I figured it’s not something you want people doing anymore. Is there a way to add that sizing feature to the short >>##### links, like say:  
>>1087917s = small  
>>1087917t = thumb  
>>1087917ts = thumb small  
>>1087917tt = thumb tiny

Doubt it. Probably has more to do with how the >> method respects filters and such and is therefore slightly more preferable.

More sizes are planned, it’s just really low priority IMO.

Yes, respecting filters is a very good thing, and the >>p/t syntax is easier to work with as well.
 
So, as for why I removed !! from the embed codes, it’s because we’ve for a while wanted people using >>p/t only for on-site images. I hadn’t realized that >>p/t create a div and thus force a newline. My initial fix created a bug and was thus reverted by liam. I’ll have it actually fixed soon.

Ah okay! Truth be told I don’t use the variable sizes much. My big concern was whether the old links were removed because they caused bugs or were bad for the site or something.

Could the tag editor made to show more than two lines of tags by default? The box can be scrolled and resized, but this gets annoying fast when you have to do it repeatedly when adding new tags. IIRC it used to display more than two rows but that was changed not long ago. I think 4-5 rows should be fine for most images.

The annoying thing is that fancy tags take up a ton of vertical space that makes the height much better with text-only tags, but we want the height to not change when toggling.

We can make it 5 rows for fancy tags, but then it’s ridiculous for text tags. 2 rows is sufficient for uploads in general, just not for adding tags to existing images.  
When I get back to working on CSS, I’ll have to look into a way to size based on height of content.

Can tags with the “photographer:” prefix get the same highlighting that the “artist:” prefix gets?

Is there any way to copy your own filters so you can easily make variations of them?  
This isn’t that important since I can pretty easily just copypaste the tag lists, but it would be a little more convenient to be able to make a quick copy.

Go to the Filters page, select the filter you want to copy, click on Edit This Filter, then Toggle Editor; that changes it from button-based tags to plain text with the tags separated by commas. Ctrl+A to select all of it, Ctrl+C to copy it, then make a new filter and click Toggle Editor and Ctrl+V to paste the tags. Adjust as necessary.
 
It seriously takes longer to describe than to actually do it.

I did know about that already, I was more thinking along the lines of the buttons that are available for the site’s default filters.

Those buttons appear on filters “shared” with you that you don’t have control of, so that you can create a customized copy.
 
Fastest way to copy a filter that you can edit is just to click the “toggle editor” button to turn the fancy tags off, then copy/paste the text into a new one.

Forced spoiler for hot-button fetishes, if it’s possible. What I mean is, needing to not only select “Everything” filter, but to confirm that the person is over 18 and doesn’t mind un-spoilering tags like scat, vomit, watersports, diapers, digestion, and… I forget (you get the idea). Scat already has a derpi-style spoiler. Might as well get it some use.  
Alternatively, have a different “Everything” filter that have the “more offensive” tags spoilered (replacing the current “everything spot), while a filter located lower has the “true everything” filter.
