This is the thread for linking older artwork that can be updated using DeviantArt (and from other sites as well - current thread name exists for legacy reasons) highres exploit in order to get the original resolution instead of 600/800/1024/1280px limit. And for other already uploaded old artworks, if you don’t want to bump it.

Please be sure to check the artist tag for any DNP settings that may apply.
Please make sure any images you link are not at a “paid only” resolution.

Link the image here on Derpibooru so we know what to replace. >>###
Link the High-Res file for us to use (if it’s possible to download file, write source link here).
Link the Source if changed from provided.

Valid for wide images with restricted size and without age-restriction

Visit the page of the image you want while logged out (you can use incognito/private mode).
Click “Join” or “Log In” on the top. The image should appear behind “Join the largest art community…”.
Right click the image and click “Inspect”.
Dig through the code and find the image URL.

Valid for images, uploaded BEFORE April 2019
Since recent changes, DeviantArt may provide preview with this kind of link:

You may cut everything after /v1/fill... (and add intermediary/ before /f/) to retrieve bigger image:

They are still not original size, but larger anyway.

Hash explicitly states which maximum resolution can be provided (and it probably can even expire). The only thing you can do - request PNG version, if DA shows JPEG. Change second file extension to png:

Also you can edit image quality (q_XX) up to 100, but this will only affect jpg previews.

Image link should be like following:

For example

Change sizes to something very big

Universal
You need to reblog posts, images from which you’re willing to obtain, and then request archive of your entire blog in settings. When it’s done, it will contain original images.
