The latest images I upload won't show up unless I log in

This issue is strange for me. For some reason, the latest images I’ve uploaded to the site won’t show up in my account or the search results unless I log in. I use Firefox mainly, but sometimes I’ll log in from another browser like chrome or my Wii browser.

Are you sure there isn’t a tag that’s covered by the default filter in there?

I use my own legacy filter instead of default. When I did switch to default, the screencaps from rainbow rocks were gone. I switched back to my legacy filter and now they’re back. I guess I was too used to my legacy filter to notice…

The Default filter hides (among other things) the screencap tag. The reason for this is while they might be cute etc, they also usually get dumped lots at a time, spamming up the frontpage (and thus pushing actual art off it).
 
We’re not discouraging them (and going by votes, enough people still see them anyway); it’s really merely to have the logged-out view focus more on real art.
