Over dramatic? Probably. But Dilarius has made it clear he wants foalcon gone too. Since that’s the case, I see no reason why they won’t move onto other contentious subjects after that, like murder porn or something, then rape porn, etc. Essentially, they’ll just remove every topic that uncomfortable to defend until their perfect vision of a website is realized.
 
It’s not a slippery slope either, he straight up said he wanted to remove foalcon. You could argue that the rest is slippery slope, but why would anyone think it would stopped there?
 
Honestly though, my biggest concern is death of humour on this site, unless it’s the blandest, safest humour possible. Or if it mocks the “approved” groups you’re allowed to mock.

Well, both of the administrators stated it clear that they won’t allow this site to turn into an archive of the screencaps from the show.
 
And they said they understand that to keep that promise they won’t go after any fetishes, even if some activists would try to demand it.

As if it matters what any of the moderation state while TSP’s whim looms over them like the Sword of Damocles.  
The same TSP, mind, who’s been radio silent on this site throughout the storm, all the while chatting it up elsewhere with the very person who would see it purged and altered to suit their personal ideological bent.

I wouldn’t care about anything that anyone says on some locked-in third-party platform. If they have something to talk about or criticism, they are welcome to use the appropriate channels like this forum here, IRC or discord and voice their concerns there.
 
Can someone tell me why exactly this Dilarus matters?  
Did this literal nobody ever talk outside of his safe space on a third-party site?  
Does he seriously expect that people here run after him and join that platform where you can’t write messages with more than 200 or so characters, that is known for political extremism, where 2/3rd of all messages are written by bots and that regularly gets hacked, last happening just a few days ago with some hacker having complete backend access and who-knows-who being in possession of all the data now?

He shouldn’t matter to the agenda of this site, but he happens to matter by the fact he can influence things.
 
For example, this whole drama that was happening for the past weeks is caused by his actions and his organized supporters who were (and still are) threatening this site and encouraging artists here to demand the change Dilarus wants to happen here.
 
They use ALL possible dirty tricks, starting from writing letters to the owner of the hosting of Derpibooru, and trying to cut the funding of this site, and finishing it by writing to charities who get money either from Derpibooru or from some artists from here (I don’t remember the details) to stop accepting the money for it being from the site or artists who were drawing nazi content.

All I see here is Dilarus wanting to become that one guy who I can’t seem remember his name… I dunno, but I’ll probably forget who Dilarus is too.

So if we would just ignore this Dilarus and his sheeple, what would realistically happen?
 
afaik they already used up all their arrows in their quiver.  
They tried to shot derpi down via writing to the hosting company. They tried to shut the patreon down. They tried to write to news outlets.  
So what else could the terrorists possibly try?  
Is there any legit reason why you would try to negotiate with those?

The leaks have also made it clear the admins have no intention of keeping promises, and that they’ll change direction like a leaf caught in an updraft. Most of the staff have a trust rating of 0%. Princess Luna seems to be at least trying to work things out, but we’ve been shown REPEATEDLY that TSP or Joey or whoever can just go over that person’s head and ignore all the feedback from the past week.

They’ll pull every single dirty trick in the book to slander this website, its users, and get its patreon removed. They don’t care about the site in the slightest, which is why they’re so eager to try and deplatform it if they don’t get their way.
 
If that doesn’t work, they’ll do the exact same thing but for individual artists. Slander, trying to get patreon to boot them, trying to get them fired, etc.

Mods should tell the truth: They don’t care for anyone else except their own self interest and that these “polls” are a smoke screen to make them look like they care.

I ask myself that since the beginning of all this shit.  
The only answer to me is maybe because his agenda fits with TSP’s political views. An opinion from people like him shouldn’t be that influential in how you should be in charge of a community of thousand of people around the world.  
But that’s the thing, the staff simply don’t care about the community.

Their art was the art that was originally brigaded by /MLP/ and which was then edited and reuploaded over and over despite their DNP “No Edits” during the start of the BLM protests when this started in early June.
 
And those “Rule #1 unauthorized edits” are some of the first art that was uploaded to a couple of the new “fuck your copyright” replacement sites that came online as replacements to this site.
 
They were also one of the first artists dogpiled by people coming here for the sole purpose of downvoting and shitposting BLM images and Rule #1 edits, so they ended up being kind of the poster child of the “if people had just filtered this artist’s images we wouldn’t be here now” and now they are a martyr for the cause on Twitter because the anti-censorship protesters successfully drove them off of the site, or they deleted themselves off of the site in protest - take your pick of which story you believe.
 
Basically, the anti-censorship/anti-BLM/anti-artist’s rights squad successfully deplatformed them from here, so they are a kind of pyrrhic hero for the folks hoping to ‘drive the racists and bigots’ off of this site now.

I think most the people knew that, first we ban Aryanne, next x thing, the next month we ban Y thing and so.  
It’s never enough to some people the censorship until it fits with their political view and there’s no opposition to that anymore.
