They are polar opposites yet Rainbow Dash constantly stands up for Fluttershy(see: RD protecting Yung Fluttershy from bulli)
They are best friends from when they were fillies and work off each other well

Well I mean that’s just as subjective as any ship. I personally don’t like Flutterdash at all. Even ignoring my dislike for Fluttershy as a character, I couldn’t see her be anything but a hinderance for Dash’s occupation. Soarin’ would directly influence it positively, on account of him being in it.
