I literally do no see why that even exists as a ship, I just always saw it as a straight version of Soarburn. of course you could argue that Soarburn makes less sense, but, shut up let me enjoy gay things.

I sort like the challenge of Soarin and Applejack trying to balance a relationship with their careers and responsibilities to the farm respectively. A lot would depend on how long a typical Wonderbolts tour lasts.
 
Plus dating back to the early days of the fandom it was/is refreshing to see a Soarin ship that doesn’t involve Rainbow Dash or Spitfire.
