Starlight Glimmer Appreciation Thread

You have no idea how much that upsets me. In fact, “upset” might be a understatement. That’s not legit criticisms, that’s just being a petty dickhole about it.
But despite all of this, I still try and get by just loving what I love. But I fail at it sometimes. Again, sorry to bring everyone down…And thanks for giving your own two cents. It’s nice that my grievances aren’t ignored and people’s solution isn’t just ‘deal with it’.

sigh Thanks guys. Thanks for your words of encouragement. However, the haters did break me a little. Because the season 5 finale, something I once found good and even somewhat wholesome at the end, is now one of those episodes that’s hard for me to watch. Not because I think the episode bad, I still think it’s good. It’s just that, whenever I watch it, I get like an overabundance of bad memories of the constant hate and overreaction flow through my mind whenever I so much as even think about the episode, let alone watch it.

Where I might become agitated is when I see people continue to criticize her for her past behavior and label her irredeemable.

These fanarts are [insert any insult here]. Why? Because Equality Starlight was not and will never argueing against reformed Starlight. Actually we have seen with Marks for Effort that she’s still there. The Starlight who goes further as any other pony. The one who’s doing what she wants, what is needed to be done (Royal Problem). Thank your both for turn her against herself. I am not amused.

Let it say me this way: What’s wrong about Equality? Apart of lying about her own cutie mark (what she has to being able to turn over ponies into follower). Enlighten me. Seriously, I want to know. In a world full of Canterlot nobles, Spoiled Rich and Trixie harassers (seen in Magic Duel flashback), and Sunburst quit any contact after flunk out: what was wrong about Equality?

Try to do something that will improve your mood (drawing, playing video games, listen to music, share images of her in this thread, etc).
I don’t wanna sound serious or annoying, but the Starlight’s hate is getting boring and you know those who spread this hate are BP or just individuals with different point of view.

I just wanted to know if I was the only one who has gotten effected in that way, and it looks like I am. So far, no one else has admitted to wishing the guys at DHX never created her because the hate was too much.

Oh. Well the point of that picture was visually showing Starlight’s inner struggles/inner demons. It’s all the self doubt that she constantly has manifesting in her past self whispering in her ear.

Kill people’s mood ? Not really … all I see is you care Starlight very much . You care her … so is neutral that influence by her hater . In fact , that question just give everyone a chance to vent stress from her hate . But I agree we shouldn’t overdid it .
