I’m trying to understand why the children in PBS cartoons are so stupid.

Is this what we get when we don’t donate enough money to the local PBS station, that the intelligence and writing of the characters needs more money.

Therefore, when you think about it: Amount of money going into public broadcasting = Quality of broadcasting material.

Well, anyway… Here are a few of the rp ideas I have…
 
1: A TF2 style rp, that would be focused on the themes of comedy, Slice of Life, and a bit of cartoon style action. It would probably focus around the Mann Vs Machine storyline, in a manner similar to Analysis Anarchy. The individual players (people who actually join the rp) would create their character around their preferred class (for instance, I’d probably make a character that’s an anthro fox medic…). I don’t see this having any major storyline to follow…. So in other words, it’s gonna be wack.
 
2: an MGS3 inspired rp, focused on the spycraft of the Cold War… With a few international conspiracies mixed in. I had a lot of free time back in the day, and spend a lot of time researching how all the famous and less-famous Operations of the CIA and KGB were done back in the day… So I could probably take up a narration role on the players playing the role of cold war spies. I’d do my best to intertwine the individual stories together with each other, and revolve around real world events that had happened (like the Cuban Missile Crisis)
 
3: my third and final idea would take inspiration from tales of old, and classic literature. It would revolve around monster hunting in the late 19th century. It would be a pretty standard story, probably comparable to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (but without Sean Connery, sadly)
 
 
And Idea number 4… Would be a Dieselpunk take on the second world war. Using an alternative earth with alternative countries, it would essentially be like one of the old Military Sims I used to narrate back in the day (2018 feels like so long ago now…). I’m not so sure this idea would work out too well in it’s current state, since it’s such a fresh concept in my mind at the moment. But you gotta admit… Sherman Tank mechs would be pretty dope. Michael and I did a private rp around this idea in the past before… It did alright.

Now, you see, maybe it would be that way if the BBC got stripped of funding.
 
But PBS is American, and with bare bones funding, would have to avoid imports… Except maybe some knock off shows from Asia and other Slavic countries.
 
Maybe we’d get Farfur the Mouse.

I could work with #1 & #2 pretty well.  
#3 sounds like an idea I’ve had in the past- I wanted to have a series centered around a cult that hunted monsters. I’d planned to start in more of a medieval-renaissance era with obvious fantasy themes(because monsters) and then move forward in time, all the way up to a space version. I hadn’t considered using the 19th century but I think it could be interesting.
 
I like ’em all, because I think I could work with ’em all and because I am Indecisive Garbage™
