I am suggesting aliasing the following [color] [object] tags to their respective base tags due to fairly little or no usage for the color-specific tags:
I’m not going to make any suggestions for [color] socks or [color] panties, as there are some color-specific tags there that have usages exceeding 200 which IMHO, qualifies color-specific tags for those categories as widely useful
Background Pony #113F
I never quite know where to draw the line between “it’s factually correct, so leave it be” and “too incidental to matter, plus spawns too many tags to keep track of and make sure get implications”
For at least a few of these, it looks like you’ve been actively removing them, so it’s hard to get a sense of how much use they’d really be getting.

I’d rather these get implications set up than be aliased because aliasing them will preclude them from ever meeting this threshold. Then I’d also +1 the following as working against some of these being able to gain traction too:

Rather not alias stuff like this away just because they’re small. Until it gets into super granular stuff like yellow and blue polkadots on a white background then plain colors are fine.

fair enough

  • for the bowtie ones, it’s because they were tagged on images containing bows that aren’t bowties (there’s one user that thinks bowtie is interchangable with bow and uses both tags despite a bowtie being a specific kind of necktie)
  • for the frills ones, they are a minute detail of the image, applied by one user, and usually only on his own uploads
