Will happen, heck, they are doing commercials using Jotaro and D’Arby VAs.

They’ll adapt parts 3-8, and 9 if it comes out during the show’s run.
 
And when it’s done, it will be remembered as one of the best anime adaptions, right next to Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I have the HD version on XBLA, but I’m beginning to regret purchasing it because I can’t play for shit.

I played it quite a bit on GGPO. The system of the game is pretty odd, but works really well once you get into it.
 
Also Alessi can turn the opponent into a kid. You just don’t see stuff like that in normal fighting games.
