So spoilering this just in case but  
|| how much do the rest of the team(s?) know about Pyrrha’s death/involvement with Ozpin/Fall Maiden thing? Like I figure Jaune has put it together given he went down into that secret bunker place and has gotten all the notes later on, but like how much do the rest of them know about that? I mean they all just might figure that Pyrrha rushed off just to try and save people unaware of the whole Maiden plot and died as collateral rather than as someone Ozpin had plans for ||

One time I saw fanart of Yang’s bios getting back together and I thought dad was Jaune, got my names mixed up and thought the Scropian was in a dress with Jaune. That still made more sense to me than Yang’s bio parents getting back together.

I have no idea who Mercury is. Probably the Roman messenger god Mercury.

I always thought Ruby was the Dorothy of the show.
 
Her name is Ruby, referencing the Ruby Slippers.
 
She has a dog (Toto -> Zwei)
 
In the original novel, the Ruby Slippers are actually silver (they were recolored to ruby to take advantage of color film, which was a huge leap forward at the time).
 
Like The Wicked Witch of the West desperately searching for the Silver Slippers, Salem is searching for Silver Eyes.
 
On a side note, the Emerald City is revealed to be a complex ilusion, kind of.like how Emerald herself has an illusion-based Semblance.

I just realized how easy it is for Hollywood to make Toto a talking dog in any future Wizard of Oz film. It appeals to the masses and gives the dog a speaking role in which you can hire a famous actor for that extra promotion.
 
It’s wrong but they can do it and it’d work.
